I haven't spent much time in Thailand. How do I know what's a good location?

Of course, choosing the best location is ultimately a personal choice driven by your own priorities.

If you’re looking for a place to spend only the odd weekend, it might be nice to find a secluded place, miles away from everything.

On the other hand, if you’re planning on spending a few weeks or perhaps months in your house, priorities may change. The picturesque fishing village might get a bit dull, and driving for hours to find the nearest restaurant goes from charming to tiresome. After all, the small contrasts are what makes life interesting; beach during the day, and perhaps a movie at night. Thai restaurant one day, Italian or French the next. Or perhaps a BBQ at home in your backyard with a mix of ingredients from the international grocery store and the local farmer’s market.

In Hua Hin, both the dentist and the golf course are just a few minutes away. In the end, don’t let a sales person convince you, visit the location and have a look for yourself. And think carefully about what you want in your surroundings.

I'm not a Thai national. Can I still buy a house in Thailand?

Most countries in the world have restrictions on property ownership by foreigners. As a foreigner in Thailand, you can own the house, and then lease the land from us in perpetuity. This is the best and safest way for foreigners to buy houses in Thailand.

Can I sell the house that I have bought from you?

Yes, you can sell your house to whomever you wish, whenever you wish. We are also happy to help with the administrative matters if needed.

Can I rent out the house that I've bought from you?

Yes. If you want to rent out your house, we can introduce you to real estate agents here in Hua Hin.

Which language is the contract for the house purchase in?

English

How long does it take to build my house?

About 10 months.

How do you manage and supervise the construction?

Our whole team is based in Hua Hin. We spend our entire days, in person, on the construction site.

Who looks after my house when I'm not at home?

A house needs regular maintenance to keep its value. We can provide this for a small fee. Please contact us for details.

What do I do if I need to see the doctor or have a medical emergency?

Hua Hin has a number of good hospitals, and a new specialist hospital, sponsored by the King of Thailand, is under development in central Hua Hin.

In Bangkok, two hours by car from Hua Hin, you will find some of Asia’s best hospitals, where patients from all around the world fly in for specialist care.

Can I have broadband Internet access in my house?

Yes, broadband Internet is available at different speeds.

Do I need home insurance?

It’s always good to insure your home, and it is very affordable to do so in Thailand.

We are happy to introduce you to an insurance company, and help you with your application if needed.

Do I need a visa to visit Thailand?

Most visitors from Europe do not need a visa for shorter visits to Thailand. For stays longer than 30 days, most visitors need a visa. There are various options, including the practical Longstay visa.
